NAVIGATING A CHALLENGING FARM ECONOMY
David Colville and other agriculture experts will be presenting at this morning seminar brought to you by the Michigan State University Cass and St. Joseph County Extension Offices. The seminar is being held March 11, 9:00 AM-Noon, at First Church of God, 21083 Spencer Rd, Cassopolis, MI. Educational sessions will be offered on upcoming legislation impacting farmers, determining your true cost of production, grain marketing strategies and pairing these strategies with your crop insurance, and farm financing options. The cost is free but registration is required by calling the MSU Cass County Extension office (269-445-4438) by March 7.

MARCH 15 DEADLINE APPROACHES
March 15 is the deadline to sign up or make changes to your policy for spring-planted crops. The cost per dollar of coverage is down this year for most revenue products, providing an opportunity to move up in coverage level. Please contact us for a quote or if you have made any of the following changes:

Marital status (married, divorced, deceased spouse)

Business structure (e.g. converted to an LLC, added or removed members)

You are planting new crops that weren't previously on your policy

You are planting in new counties
